3.1 Position the control cabinet to the site plan and fix to the wall. This should be adjacent to the switched fused spur outlet.
Ensure that the mains supply to the spur unit is disconnected at the fuse box.
3.2 Connect the control cabinet to the electrical supply at the switched fused spur outlet. Fit warning label "switch off only" to or adjacent to the switch.
3.3 Run cables from the electrical control cabinet to the push fit connectors located inside the trailing cable covers.
3.4 Position the landing push stations and any trunking at both levels according to the site plan and connect to the control cabinet. Run all cables inside the outerguide section wherever possible.
3.5 Position the hydraulic powerpack cabinet as per site plan and fix to the
wall or as directed by site plan. Ensure that the hose supplied will reach from the powerpack to the ram.
3.6 Run cables from the control cabinet to the hydraulic powerpack cabinet. Run the cables in the outer guide section wherever possible and in trunking or conduit at all other times.
