8.11 Fit the cabin and door top sensitive edge covers to their mechanism via the tamperproof fixings within the covers. They should not stick when pressed down from any position. Start to raise the lift and press down one edge, which should stop the lift. Check all 3 edges stop the lift when pressed down anywhere upon their lengths. The sensitive edges should be re-checked for correct operation after the cabin internal side covers have been finally positioned.
8.12 General
Ensure that all switch fixings have been tightened. Check all switch settings by running the lift up and down several times. Check that the door opens and closes only at the correct floor levels.
