8  SWITCH CALIBRATION

8.8  Upper Floor Anti Creep Switch.   
        Adjust the anti-creep switch close to top of  the activation ramp. The switch should be set  so that the lift will anti-creep at the 1st floor before the open cabin door comes into contact with the floor level.

8.9   Up Ultimate Limit Switch
         With the lift cabin at the correct upper floor level, position the switch activation roller to achieve 38mm overtravel before activation.  Check that when activated, the lift will not operate.  The switch is reset by removing the upper front cover pulling the reset button

8.10 Cabin and Door-Top Sensitive Edges.
      Check and adjust cabin and door top sensitive edge switches (6 off) so that  when he mechanisms are compressed the switch is 'opened'.
        The switch arm should be adjusted so that it is 1-2mm below the  mechanism fixing plate. Check that all fixings have been tightened.
       Check that the mechanisms compress and return freely without sticking. 
        The switch cases must not run through the mechanism as they could restrict its movement.
