8  SWITCH CALIBRATION

8.5 Lower Floor Door Zone.
Lower the cabin to the ground floor. Fit the switch activation ramp to the base of the gantry coiled cable bar. Adjust the ramp so that it makes with this door zone switch mounted on the cabin rear sling. Locate in position with 2 off setscrews.
The maximum allowable door zone is
50mm above the ground floor.
         
         
Check that the door does not operate when outside the door zone

8.6  Upper Floor Stopping Switch
        Rise the cabin to approximately first floor level.  Position the anti-creep switch well away from the top of the activation ramp.  Adjust the up stopping switch to achieve the correct level.  The lift should be run its full travel to ensure correct stopping level.  Check that the door can fully open without rubbing on carpet or flooring.  The nominal distance between the underside of the open door and finished floor level is approximately 10-15mm.

         
NOTE:     To raise the stopping level, lower the switch on the carriage bracket.

8.7  Upper Floor Door Zone.
       
The upper floor door zone switch is mounted on an integral bracket with the upper floor stopping switch and will automatically be set to suit.
