8  SWITCH CALIBRATION

8.1 Gantry Separation Switch.
       Adjust the gantry separation switch using the screw mounted on the cabin  upper guide roller bracket to ensure that as soon as the cabin picks up the  gantry, the switch closes.

8.2 Gantry Sensitive Surface Switches.
       Adjust the up gantry sensitive switches plate to the correct clearance (3mm  nominal) (Note: Down sensitive switches are factory set.)
If the up sensitive switches are set too close or the gantry board springs are  not adjusted correctly, the switches can be triggered during normal lift  operation due to whipping action when the cabin picks up the gantry.
